Dylan Prince Chosen as Top Performer in the Cast It Talent Monthly Showcase: August Edition
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 18, 2014 -- Cast It Talent announces that Dylan Prince of New York, NY, has been selected as the Top Performer in their August Monthly Showcase. To recognize his efforts, Mr. Prince will receive $500, as well as feedback on his performance from Cast It’s panel of noted casting professionals. Cast It Talent also congratulates the other finalists: Xavier Aguilar of Austin, TX; Ashley Alexander of Vancouver, BC; Zoe Kanters of Ann Arbor, MI; Michelle Moll of Los Angeles, CA; Antonio Rocco of Campobasso, Italy; Siiren Sire of London, UK; Mishka Thébaud of Toronto, ON; Benjamin Welch of Atlanta, GA; and Ally Wyzgoski of Los Angeles, CA. All of the finalists will receive feedback on their work from the panel.
Each month, Cast It Talent hosts a showcase to give new and experienced actors a chance to be seen by and get feedback on their work from industry experts, regardless of where they are based. Ten finalists are chosen, and of those, one is picked as the Top Performer. The panel includes casting director/acting coach Marci Liroff (Vampire Academy, Mean Girls, Footloose) and casting director and former Senior Vice President of Casting at Universal Pictures Joanna Colbert (Warm Bodies, The Mummy Returns, Happy Gilmore).
To be considered, all an actor must do is to download the provided instructions, record himself/herself performing a monologue/scene fitting the requirements outlined in the instructions, and upload his/her video to the site. If his/her audition is selected, that actor gets feedback from our panel, and the Top Performer receives $500 for his/her work. This format allows actors to submit their online audition from anywhere. Films such as Star Wars: Episode VII, Pete’s Dragon, Jungle Book, Unbroken, Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Project X have used this format to find unknown actors worldwide.
