E-Commerce Company US Cargo Control Joins American Moving & Storage Association
Urbana, IA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- E-commerce company US Cargo Control, a distributor of moving supplies, has recently become a member of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA), a non-profit organization that includes more than 4,000 professional movers or companies that provide moving supplies, services or storage.
US Cargo Control sells a variety of moving supplies, including moving blankets, hand trucks and moving dollies, furniture covers, boxes, and packing supplies on its website. The company’s moving supplies sales specialist, Sarah Watson, says joining AMSA is a great way to network with other companies in the moving industry.
“We’ve really been able to grow our business over the last 18 months by connecting with other companies in the moving business; we’re looking forward to expanding those opportunities through AMSA,” said Watson. “One example of our recent relationship-building within the industry is our preferred vendor relationship with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK (TMT) franchisees. We’ve had the honor of working closely with many of the franchise owners and learning exactly what they need in professional moving supplies.”
US Cargo Control was founded in 2005 and expanded to include moving supplies a few years later. It’s been a category of continued growth, as new items are added to the company website nearly every quarter. The newest product lines, including piano moving supplies, pre-stretched wrap, and Neoprene floor runners were introduced based on suggestions made by TMT customers. An in-bound sales team with a dedicated phone line just for moving supplies customers has also recently been added at the company’s headquarters in Urbana, IA.
Based in the Washington DC area, the AMSA organization communicates with its members via two websites, Direction magazine, an online buyers guide, a professional sourcebook, several e-newsletters, and webinars. Watson says she looks forward to keeping abreast of industry news via the various media channels.
