With more than 28 years of experience in the utility and energy-efficiency industry, Dent will be able to deliver innovative, actionable, and value-based solutions to complex utility problems. He has extensive experience with designing, implementing, and evaluating DSM portfolios and utility customer-focused campaigns. For the past five years, Dent led the development and implementation of utility client DSM portfolios and programs for several utilities as a third-party implementer and directed energy-efficiency program implementation areas, including trade ally management, program marketing, call center operations, rebate processing, and program management.
Prior to that, Dent worked at Questar Corp. for more than 23 years. He conceived and developed the nationally recognized ThermWise DSM portfolio for Questar Gas and held senior-level positions in departments focused on DSM, marketing, community relations, distribution-system expansion, and business development. Dent has also served on the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project’s (SWEEP’s) Board of Directors and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency’s Program Advisory Committee. In 2009, SWEEP recognized him with its Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award. He has a BS in marketing and an MBA.
