e-Spirit Names Guy Schneider Vice President of North American Sales
Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- e-Spirit Inc., a leading supplier of content management solutions, today announced the appointment of Guy Schneider as Vice President of North American Sales. Schneider comes to e-Spirit from SDL’s Content and Analytics Technologies Division and will lend his expertise to grow adoption and market acceptance of the FirstSpirit content management and CX enablement system across the US and Canada.
“The evolution of “customer experience” as a strategic corporate initiative has created a broad and growing market of highly functional, cost effective, best-of-breed technologies optimally designed for segmented needs or elements of a larger enterprise CX strategy,” Schneider said. “While the enterprise demand for feature rich web content management remains high, there is rapidly growing demand for web content management solutions that can also leverage the power of other technology investments to enable a broader digital marketing strategy.
“With its powerful content management capabilities and unique AppCenter technology, e-Spirit is extremely well positioned to work with other best-of-breed technologies to capitalize on this market need. I am thrilled to be part of what I see as a significant shift in the role of the CMS to serve as an integration or enablement platform,” Schneider added.
The best-of-breed approach used by FirstSpirit stands in contrast to the monolithic suite approach of many other vendors. The challenge with suites, according to Schneider, is that the various functional pieces – often the result of acquisitions – are poorly integrated. Moreover, the suite solutions aren’t optimally designed to “play nice” with other competing technologies and often require organizations sacrifice their autonomy to use technologies they prefer in one category to gain the functional promise that the suite solution proposes. FirstSpirit on the other hand offers out-of-the-box integration with major enterprise platforms such as SAP, Demandware, IBM, SharePoint and Liferay and features a broad set of tools for easily integrating with legacy and cloud-based systems.
“As this move demonstrates, e-Spirit is continuing to aggressively build its operations in the US and around the world to take advantage of the market need for an enterprise-class best-of-breed CMS,” said Robert Bredlau, Chief Operating Officer of e-Spirit, Inc. “Through Guy’s expertise and track record of delivering exceptional results, we’re confident that e-Spirit is poised for rapid expansion in the North American market over the next several years.”
Schneider joined e-Spirit after seven years with SDL, where he held the position of Vice President of Sales. Prior to this, he held sales and sales management positions with RedDot Solutions, Vignette Corp and Epicentric, Inc. among others. Schneider holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
