Rockville, MD (PRWEB) January 08, 2016 -- The OR Business Management Conference, a staple of the operating room business management industry, will be held February 21-24, 2016, at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale in Glendale, AZ. The 2016 Program Committee, led by Program Chair Dana Crompton, MHA, developed a full, expanded agenda to include a pre-conference workshop and more than 50 educational sessions in four tracks, presented by more than 80 perioperative services expert speakers.
The conference will kick off Sunday, February 21, with a Pre-Conference Workshop, “Writing a Master Business Plan for Perioperative Supply Management.” The workshop, led by Ned Turner, senior vice president of Medline Industries, Inc., is pre-approved for an additional 3 continuing education units (CEUs).

Monday’s keynote luncheon, “Reduce Patient Suffering Through Compassionate Connected Care,” will be led by Gail Avigne, MSN, RN, BA, CNOR, principal consultant at Press Ganey Associates, Inc. and will focus on combating burnout and fatigue while maintaining patient safety.
Tuesday’s opening keynote presentation, “Staying in Sync: Our Changing Roles for Tomorrow's Healthcare,” presented by Bill F. Jane McLeod, MSN, RN, co-founder of Capstone Leadership Solutions, Inc., will follow up with a luncheon presentation, “Dear Stress – Let’s Break Up,” which will leave attendees with some much-needed knowledge and techniques for staying healthy and committed in an ever-stressful environment.
In its fifth year, the OR Business Management Conference has been expanded to include educational tracks, more sessions, experts, and information than ever before, and seats are filling up fast. “We’ve gotten an overwhelmingly positive response to our expanded program, which features veteran speakers as well as expert newcomers. We’re delighted to welcome back Keith Siddel, our 2014 conference opener, who will walk the audience through essential Medicare changes affecting reimbursement and the impact of other new expectations for healthcare providers,” says Elizabeth Wood, Editor of OR Manager.
Interactive breakout sessions and general keynote presentations will give attendees strategic planning and problem-solving tools to take back to their facilities. Networking breaks, receptions, and off-site events will provide informal and entertaining opportunities for attendees to engage with their peers.
