Early Education Line Fundanoodle to Spin Off From School-Supply Giant

April managed the brand at Carolina Pad after successfully running the company’s first consumer engagement campaign and developing the Studio C brand.
April, a mom of three, caught the entrepreneurial bug as the 32nd employee and 7 year veteran of LendingTree.com. In 2006, she launched the Charlotte office of Mom Corps, a start-up focusing on career and professional development. Two years later, April was recruited by Carolina Pad to develop and launch the Studio C brand and the company’s first ever consumer marketing campaign. April took over the management of the Fundanoodle product line in 2011 and in 2013 she successfully raised capital to establish Fundanoodle as an independent company.
Originally developed in partnership with pediatric occupational therapists, Fundanoodle was created with the belief that learning the skills required for handwriting and other educational and everyday activities should be fun. More than just handwriting tablets and workbooks, Fundanoodle helps kids with fine and gross motor coordination, enhances hand-eye coordination, encourages touch and visual exploration and promotes problem solving, discovery and self-esteem. Building confidence while learning, children become successful in and out of the classroom.
