Early Learning Ventures Announces New State-Wide Colorado Alliance
Englewood, Colorado (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- Early Learning Ventures (ELV) is pleased to announce the formation of the ELV Colorado Alliance. ELV Alliances are community-based networks comprised of small, early care and education businesses (nonprofit or for profit) that work together to deliver services in a more streamlined and efficient way. The ELV Alliance model ensures fiscal stability and superior business operations, which are the foundation for delivering high quality early learning services. This new Alliance is an outgrowth of the ELV Metro Alliance and will increase the organization’s capacity to strengthen business operations and enhance quality in the early child care education community on an even broader scale. This new Alliance extends the opportunity of access and support to child care providers that have previously not been able to obtain it in their area.
“As the ELV program evolves and expands its networks of child care providers, the establishment of this state-wide ELV Colorado Alliance is a promising step forward,” said Judy Williams, Program Director of Early Learning Ventures. “ELV will continue to work closely with our established satellite Alliances to support their efforts to build strong local networks of child care providers. Over the past two years, we were fortunate to have relied upon the leadership and expertise of the Bal-Swan Children’s Center as the operating organization of the ELV Metro Alliance. We are extremely thankful to Brian Conly, the ELV Metro Alliance Program Managers, staff, and Board of Directors for their commitment to laying such a strong foundation for this Alliance,” Judy added.
ELV’s first-of-its kind network of Alliances provides tools and support to child care providers. These efforts expand access to quality child care programs by helping providers save time and money, thus allowing them to focus on the most important part of their day – caring for and educating children. Knowing that a child’s first five years of life are the most critical for charting a course to lasting success, ELV’s focus remains on serving children 5 and under. Children who experience quality child care at this young age are more likely to succeed in school, obtain a job, and lead happy, productive lives.
