Earn Seven AIA/CES Continuing Education Credits While Exploring the Latest Developments in Precast Concrete Systems and Technologies
Winchester, KY (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Architects, designers, engineers and others looking to enhance their knowledge of Precast Concrete Systems are invited to attend one of five all-day seminars in June. Attendees will earn 7.0 AIA-credited learning units or 7.0 Professional Development units.
The seminars will focus on multiple topics delivered by foremost industry professionals. Each topic provides building professionals the tools and knowledge needed to design with precast concrete products.
PCI Central Region, an affiliate organization of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, is producing the continuing education series in conjunction with regional member precast producers.
The seminars will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the following locations:
June 3: Grand Rapids, MI
June 4: Detroit, MI
June 10: Louisville, KY
June 11: Columbus, OH
June 12: Indianapolis, IN
Gate Precast is co-sponsoring this seminar series. Topics for each seminar include Integrated Building Designs, Floor & Roof Systems, Parking Structures, Architectural Systems and Education Facilities Case Studies.
Scott Robinson, Director of Sales & Marketing for Gate Precast’s Midwest Division, will lead the educational discussion on Architectural Precast Systems. Scott has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry working with design teams and contractors to ensure cost-effective best practices are used in precast design.
During the session on Parking Structures, Matthew J. Jobin, RA, Senior Project Manager at Rich & Associates in Southfield, MI, will present multiple case studies on Parking Structures. Jobin is one of Rich and Associates’ most experienced project managers and parking designers.
