EarthCam Announces Its “25 Most Interesting Webcams of 2017”

This year proved again that webcams can be a powerful media resource, when Lauderdale-By-The-Sea webcam was streamed live on all major TV networks in the United States as a public service, extending awareness of the hurricanes that devastated Florida’s East Coast. EarthCam’s judging panel chose the Top 25 Webcams list based on image quality, uniqueness and overall achievements in webcam technology. This year’s panel includes Selymar Colón, Managing Editor and Senior Director, News Digital, Univision; Karen Cummings, of the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat and a 2016 Top 25 winner; Joseph “Joey Cigars” Tuzzino, Owner of Mulberry Street Cigars; Chi Ling Moy, Communications Manager, World Trade Center Construction, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey; and a third grade class from Spring City Elementary School in Tennessee, who is representing the ‘Kid’s Vote’ this year.
