East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary & River Valley Physicians Introduce Updated Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Service
East Liverpool, Ohio (PRWEB) September 19, 2015 -- ELCH Auxiliary provided financial assistance for the move. Tracy Mangano, president of ELCH Auxiliary said, “Our team of volunteers is very grateful to be able to help with this transition. Since the new location remains within the hospital, patients continue to have easy access—without leaving the building—to x-rays, MRIs, labs and other necessary testing. The new orthopedic area provides greater privacy and comfort for patients. Patients will enjoy a private waiting area with reclining chairs, a flat screen TV, and a private restroom. All exam rooms have large windows, allowing plenty of natural light. Exam rooms are larger, allowing room for a family member to accompany a patient. “Our new location on the sixth floor gives us a spacious, quiet area to care for patients. Our orthopedic surgeons are able to spend more time focusing on each patient without distraction. We are very pleased with this new patient care setting,” said Beth Weir, Executive Director of River Valley Physicians.
