Eastleigh Rugby Club Season 2013/2014 to Start
Hampshire (PRWEB UK) 26 September 2013 -- Pipestock’s agreement earlier this year to sponsor the Eastleigh Rugby Club, being the third consecutive year of sponsorship, is going ahead. The season, which starts in the next few weeks, is destined to be an action packed one! The club ended last season on a high, finishing fifth amongst twelve participating teams and only four points from fourth place. Beating local rivals, the Trojans, last season proved the team’s capability against the opposite team who reside two leagues above them.
Pipestock’s sponsorship has allowed the club to purchase new kit including, tracksuits and kit bags in black with both Pipestock and Eastleigh logos. These kit bags and tracksuits portray ERFC in a far more professional manner when at home and away games. The team agrees that not only do these new pieces of kit increase the morale of the team but they also give a good and professional impression of their club now that they have been promoted to the London Regional League.
The club has expressed both delight and appreciation of the continuing support from Pipestock. They are not only grateful for the new kit, but also for the loan of a submersible pump and the donation of 100 metres of lay flat piping. This enabled the club to get through the appalling wet weather at the end of last season when their playing fields were flooded. Utilising these pieces of equipment, they managed to play all their matches on time which saw them through to fifth in the League, at the end of their first season in the London leagues.
These contributions by Pipestock have helped to build upon ERFC’s progress in the regional leagues with Pipestock proud to be part of the club's emerging success. Sharing so many of the same principles; the belief in developing individuals from within, a respectful team environment and always working together, Pipestock are thrilled to be supporting the team yet again. The club was established in 1931 and still embodies the initial team spirit and individual training aspects which so marked it out in the beginning years.
