EAVEShield Announces New Device That Protects XBox One Users from Hackers and Government Spying

According to Hazelton, the new powerful Kinect 2.0 device included with the new X-Box One shipping on November 22, 2013 has raised serious concerns about the potential misuse for covert spying.
"The new Kinect is a very powerful piece of hardware, which will be great for increasing gameplay but also opens up users to an unparalleled level of risk if the device is hacked or abused for covert surveillance," says Hazelton. "Our device covers the Kinect's camera and microphone when the device is not in use protecting users from this risk."
The new Kinect 2.0 will have the ability to 3D map the room you are in, with such accuracy as to be able to register individual finger movements and even measure your heart rate. The Kinect 2.0 also has a microphone that is always active. The EAVEShield will cover both the camera and microphone when the device is not in use, to help protect users against hackers and unwanted surveillance.
The Indiegogo campaign launched Monday, November 18th in order to get EAVEShield to market. He explains "We know there is great concern worldwide about the potential misuse of the new Kinect, especially after all the recent issues with the NSA. We have created physical prototypes and just need a little help getting the actual device to market."
EAVEShield is a counter surveillance device to protect Kinect users from hackers and unwanted surveillance.
