Made of lightweight aluminum and weighing just under 5 pounds, EAZY Bike has created a kit for both Europe and the U.S. Their waterproof kits include a battery that takes two to three hours to charge and can operate up to 80 miles on one charge, a motor that gives riders the ability to travel up to 16 mph in Europe and 20 mph in the U.S., a pedal sensor, and a throttle button for U.S. riders. When the rider begins to pedal, the motor activates and gives power to make for an easy ride.
Compared to HUB motors common in e-bikes, EAZY Bike uses a friction roller drive which gives riders more of an advantage by using more power-to-weight, by having no extra weight in the wheels and by the weight being in the middle of the bike, giving riders better weight distribution
