The Human Resource department is the heartbeat of any organization. They are the ones tasked with managing the organizations’ human capital. In 2014, CareerBuilder conducted a survey among over 3,000 workers to determine what people value most in the workplace and why they stay with their employers. Almost half said the benefits kept them coming back, this number was slightly higher even that those that cited being happy with their salary as the reason for staying. “Not recognizing what’s important to employees can translate into more job dissatisfaction, lower productivity, and higher voluntary turnover,” says Rosemary Haefner, vice president of Human Resources at CareerBuilder. “It’s critical that companies regularly take the temperature of their workplace and survey employees to identify where the company excels in providing a positive employee experience as well as opportunities to improve.”

Each organization is different and each requires a unique solution to manage their human capital and the benefits that are presented to their employees. For some, pay is the most important factor when it comes to remaining loyal to an organization, for others it’s time off; fitness centers, daycare, and dry-cleaning services are given a fair amount of attention and still others provide career development opportunities as an effective way to ensure their employees are happy and engaged. No matter that circumstance, PaySuite provides the power and flexibility an HR department needs to help organizations understand what is most critical for them.
