EC-Council Foundation brings Information Security Career Fair to Atlanta, September 14, 2016
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 08, 2016 -- Hacker Halted, EC-Council Foundation’s largest cybersecurity conference, has added a new component to its annual agenda that is intended to bring exciting career opportunities to attendees. In addition to learning from industry experts presenting on cutting edge security trends, earning a new certification at Hacker Halted Academy, networking with peers during the signature Hacker Halted Party, and seeing the latest technology from the vendors in the booths, conference goers can potentially make their next career move. The career fair will begin the night before Hacker Halted’s kick-off on September 14th from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia in Atlanta, GA. Hacker Halted has branched out this year in the variety of activities offered and the types of issues tackled. The night of September 14th will see the first annual InfoSec Tech & Exec Awards Gala where the brightest ethical hackers, penetration testers, CISOs, and forensics analysts will be honored and the winner in each category will be announced. EC-Council Foundation’s Global CISO Forum conference will also be taking place in conjunction with Hacker Halted and will address information security issues from an executive perspective. However, the suits and the hackers won’t be staying separate for the whole event as the first day will bring both audiences together for the Privacy vs. Security Debate, a joint session intended to foster conversation about government overreach, corporate intrusion, and the responsibility of infosec professionals.
