Eco-Friendly Writing Tool Invented by InventHelp Clients (SAH-951)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 05, 2016 -- Despite the worldwide trend toward paperless communications, the pen and pencil continue as staples of daily living. However, two inventors from Elk Grove, Calif., have taken these simple writing tools to an all new level.
They developed a prototype for the patent-pending SAFETY PEN N PENCIL to eliminate injuries associated with sharp pencil and pen points. As such, it is safer for children than conventional pens and pencils. Besides that, it eliminates the need to use hard wood in construction thereby earning carbon credits for the manufacturer. In other words, it is environmentally responsible and, at the same time, relatively inexpensive. Also, it prevents pens or pencils from being used as weapons. In addition, it is convenient, lightweight, durable and easy to use.
The inventors’ personal priorities inspired the idea. “We had several reasons for inventing this unique writing instrument. Most importantly, we wanted to prevent injuries to children caused by the sharp points and the rigid construction of pens and pencils,” one of them said. “At the same time, we wanted to save the trees otherwise destroyed to produce pencils.”
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
