EcoFoil Introduces New Line of DIY EcoFoil

The line was created as a way to tap into a growing market of consumers searching for eco-friendly insulation products for smaller DIY insulating projects.
The products in the new line of foil insulation range from 20 square feet to 100 square feet, and also include a narrow roll that’s just 6" wide. All are in the company’s most popular Double Bubble design, which features 99.9% pure aluminum radiant barrier bonded to two layers of polyethylene bubbles, to make it heavy duty, yet lightweight and tear-resistant.
Product and Sales Specialist David Arnold says the line was developed after hearing from customers wanting to use EcoFoil products for smaller projects.
“Prior to the creation of this new line, the Double Bubble insulation products were sold only in bulk rolls of 300-, 500-, and 750-square feet,” said Arnold. “We had customers calling that were interested in using it for smaller projects, such as insulating a water heater, or radiators in their home, and didn’t need a full roll of insulation.”
Arnold says the eco-friendly highlights of the insulation are what draw customers to the products. While the main benefits are that it stops up to 97% of radiant heat while maintaining a slim 5/16" profile, it’s also non-toxic, waterproof, non-absorbent, and easy to install so it’s great for a variety of uses in the home.
“The slim design is ideal for use in tight spaces, and the non-toxic element makes it much safer than many other types of traditional insulation that really can’t be used in these alternative ways.”
