Ecolane Chosen as Veolia Partner for Nebraska’s State-Wide Medicaid Contract
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- Ecolane announced today that its platform has been selected as the software of choice for Veolia Transportation’s Medicaid contract with the state of Nebraska. This partnership further expands Ecolane’s role in the Nebraska NEMT market.
Veolia will utilize Ecolane’s state-of-the-art technology for improved efficiency in the project. Ecolane’s Demand Response Transportation (DRT) software platform will be used for seamless eligibility verification, reservations, scheduling and dispatching while Android-based Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) will enable dispatchers and drivers to work together in order to deliver better service with added efficiency and safety compliance. The technology also eliminates paperwork for transportation agencies, provides a self-service web interface allowing customers to book on line and if desired, to receive text messages informing them of up to date vehicle arrival times.

Ecolane has already set the standard for automated scheduling and dispatching for demand-response transportation and this project will represent the first steps in setting a new standard in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation brokerage space.
