Ed Sickmund, MyWay Mobile Storage Market Owner and NAPO Associate Member, Joins NAPO’s Board as its new Director of Marketing in May 2017
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 -- NAPO Pittsburgh elects first Associate Member to its Board of Directors. Ed Sickmund, MyWay Mobile Storage Market Owner and NAPO Associate Member, joins NAPO’s Board as its new Director of Marketing in May 2017.
NAPO Pittsburgh is a chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). NAPO is a non-profit professional association whose members include organizing consultants, speakers, trainers, authors, and manufacturers of organizing products. Founded in 1985, it is the largest national association of and for organizers. NAPO Pittsburgh began in 2000 as a handful of area professionals known as the “Pittsburgh Professional Organizers.” The group grew through the years and eventually applied for and obtained chapter status within NAPO in 2005.
“I’ve been an Associate Member of NAPO Pittsburgh since 2007,” said Sickmund. “Associate Membership is ideal for companies like MyWay Mobile Storage that provide products or services that help people organize. This has been a mutually beneficial business relationship. We have done quite a bit of cross-marketing over the years, so stepping into the Director of Marketing role seems natural.”
In May, Sickmund will take over the Director of Marketing role from Jill Yesko, Discover Organizing. “Ed helped with our ‘Get Organized Pittsburgh’ event earlier this year,” Yesko commented. She continued, “Not only was MyWay Mobile Storage one of several local companies at the event providing information about their services to help Pittsburghers get organized, but Ed helped me promote the event to make it a success.”
Incoming NAPO Pittsburgh Board President, Sandra Lane, Organization Lane noted, “We are very pleased to have him join our Board as Director of Marketing. Ed and MyWay Mobile Storage have contributed a lot to our organization which is why he is the first Associate Member to be elected to the Board. I know he will work hard to help us continue grow the professional organizing industry in the Pittsburgh area.”
