Edan Kencayd and Lance Scott Attend Hunger Games Catching Fire Premiere As Large Donors in Support of Texas Charity
Grapevine, TX (PRWEB) December 20, 2013 -- On Wednesday, November 20th, 2013, Dallas based entrepreneur and up-and-coming real estate aficionado Edan Kencayd dazzled under the lights of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere. Escorted by fiancé Lance Scott, a well known player in the technology field, the couple were amongst the first to make a generous donation to the cinema based charity event benefiting the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Kencayd stated to the press, "Involvement in the community has always been a priority for both Lance and me. We believe in giving back as much as we can, when we heard the event would benefit a Texas food bank [Tarrant Area] we were both very much on-board, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner. We wanted to do everything we could to facilitate the event's success and I'm happy to say we've achieved that goal".
Charity organizers publicly thanked the couple as their generous donation helped spur similar reactions in surrounding communities, culminating in to a very successful and exceedingly well-done event.
Perhaps too well-done. Charity organizers reported, "Due to the overwhelming response to the whole event, the giant Hunger Games logo [hand crafted by local artisans and donated to the event as part of the VIP picture locale] was unfortunately removed and stolen by overzealous fans approximately three-quarters through the film."
When asked if the "unfortunate act" would alter their plans of support for future similar events, Scott replied: "Absolutely not. Our dedication and love for our community will always remain our driving motivation."
