Edenway Birth Center Announces New Services Available January 2014

Edenway midwives are excited to begin working with Jenni King, LMT, to offer massage therapy by appointment for mothers in the Cleburne area. Jenni offers pregnancy massage, Swedish-therapeutic massage, and cold stone therapy for migraine headaches. She also offers labor massage which is available for any laboring mother at home or the birth center.
Chiropractic care can have a significant impact on a mom’s comfort during pregnancy, on the position of the baby during pregnancy and labor, and on progress in labor. It also benefits mom and baby after the birth, and should be part of postpartum care. Edenway Birth Center has brought in Kristen O’Reilly, DC, from Turning Point Wellness Center, and Michelle Parker, DC, from The Chiropractic Place, offering comprehensive chiropractic on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment.
For families planning on conceiving in the next year, Edenway’s midwives are now offering a free pre-conception consultation which includes education on nutrition and practical help for hormonal and emotional balancing. Follow up consultations are available for couples who need on going assistance.
