Edge Hosting Achieves FedRAMP for Cloud Hosting

The ATO is a declaration that Edge Hosting’s CloudPlus Secure Cloud Infrastructure has met the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Cloud Service Provider (CSP) requirements.

The Agency granting the ATO and filing with the FedRAMP repository is the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). “DOL's authorization of Edge’s cloud hosting services using FedRAMP requirements ensures the security of government data and paves the way for other agencies in using secure cloud services,” said FedRAMP Director Matthew Goodrich. “Other agencies can now leverage this authorization, potentially saving the Federal government hundreds of thousands of dollars by eliminating redundant security authorizations of Edge Hosting’s cloud environment.”
FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that standardizes the approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. The program is designed to comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA).
