eDriving Fleet Division Names New Head of Business Development

Davis has an extensive background in both insurance and telematics-integrated safety solutions. He arrives at the Company during a growth phase marked by numerous product launches and strategic partnerships. Davis has a combined 30 years of unique and diversified insurance and telematics experience, and is known for aligning business, technology and product strategies.

Drawing on a broad understanding of insurance and telematics platforms, risk mitigation and underwriting modeling, as well as driver behavior and safety training, Davis is charged with optimizing collision-savings results and will focus on core customer groups, including: super insurance companies, mid-market insurers, super brokers, car manufacturers and leasing/accident management companies.
Before joining eDriving’s prestigious fleet Division, Davis designed and managed the SecureFleet™ insurance video telematics solution at ProSight Specialty Insurance, and spearheaded the delivery of fleet and driver management and gamification solutions.
His previous insurance channel experience also includes serving at SmartDrive Systems, Inc. and Lytx-DriveCam, Inc., where at both companies he introduced and sold solutions in support of the insurance underwriting, loss control and claims management processes.
Earlier in his career, Davis was a founding Partner and President of Insight Insurance, LLC, a Property & Casualty Insurance brokerage firm where he created, marketed and managed Alternative Risk Transfer insurance programs and group captive. He also formed Insight Fleet Services, LLC, a fleet solution-based company that provided leading edge business performance solutions to fleets, enabling innovation through telematics technologies.
