Edsby Selected by District School Board of Niagara as Next Generation Parent Communication System
ONTARIO, Canada (PRWEB) October 28, 2015 -- Edsby®, an innovative cloud-based education engagement platform built for K-12 school districts that connects teachers, parents and students using modern technologies, has been chosen to power communications between teachers, students and parents of students in the area around Niagara Falls.
District School Board of Niagara (DSBN), which includes 88 elementary schools and 18 secondary schools in the 12 municipalities that make up the Niagara Region of Ontario, selected Edsby to facilitate and streamline communication district-wide between administrators, teachers, parents and the region’s 36,000 students so parents and other guardians are informed about their children’s daily progress in school.

Also important to the district was Edsby’s powerful group collaboration features for professional learning communities, school clubs and teams that can be used to engage teachers, students and even parents at the school level and district-wide. And it was critical to the district that the winning solution be supported and proven commercial off-the-shelf software.

DSBN is the third Ontario region to adopt Edsby in recent months. And in April, Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board announced it had selected Edsby for district-wide deployment to its 34,000 students and their parents.
