Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- This June Electric Daisy Carnival returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drawing nearly 400 thousand excited attendees and many of the biggest names in dance music. During April of this year, Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella met at Studio DMI’s main studio in Las Vegas to collaborate with Luca Pretolesi on the creation of music for the 2015 Electric Daisy Carnival’s show production. The long-time friends and dance music aficionados co-produced part of the soundtrack that will likely be played each day of the festival during the intense finale. Any of those attending this year’s event will be treated to an elaborate light, pyro, and sound show that only EDC could dream up.
“This is always an exciting time of the year in Las Vegas for us..” say’s Jacob Mork” the Marketing Coordinator for Studio DMI. “Since we are deeply entrenched in the EDM community, the week during the festival seems like a reunion of friends and family bonded by our love of dance music.” Adding to the usual excitement of EDC, this year Studio DMI has decided to organize a “Pro-Mix and Master” on-ground workshops during the 3-days directly preceding the festival. According to Jacob, this is the perfect opportunity for industry professionals, serious DJ’s, or producers to extend their weekend of celebration and make it productive for their career as well.
As leaders in the art of mixing and mastering, Studio DMI has executed several advanced workshops already this year. The June event is the second 3-day workshop where students will be invited to learn inside their flagship studio in Las Vegas. Though relatively new to the education side of audio engineering, Studio DMI has quickly built a reputation for its quality of instruction and focus on professional application. Those who are interested in taking the program are encouraged to inquire immediately because of the unique scheduling that coincides with EDC. Studio DMI’s workshops are known for being intentionally intimate. With past classes ranging in size from 4 – 9 students, the “Pro-Mix and Master” class may well reach capacity shortly after accepting applications.
