Educational Video Series Introduced for Condominium Associations & Boards
DEDHAM, MA (PRWEB) January 19, 2015 -- The law firm of Goodman, Shapiro & Lombardi, LLC (GSL), practicing condominium law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, announces the availability of a series of eight three-minute legal videos entitled “The Client Privilege” providing advice to condominium boards on key management matters. The presentations were created by the three GSL partners, including Henry A. Goodman, co-founding partner; Ellen A. Shapiro, the firm's other co-founding partner; and Frank A. Lombardi, the firm's partner-in-charge of GSL’s Rhode Island office and outgoing president of the Community Association Institute’s New England chapter.
The videos will be available on the firm's website for everyone to view at http://www.goshlaw.com, according to Shapiro. In addition, the videos will be distributed to the law firm’s list of condominium association clients and condominium board members within the industry.
Shapiro said, “Our videos deal with the full spectrum of hot button subjects like marijuana, sex offenders, noise, workman’s compensation, insurance coverage, board responsibilities and meeting protocol, lien enforcement, and association rules and regulations."
Goodman said, "We know from fielding questions by attendees of our live presentations that video platforms like YouTube, Vimeo and our own http://www.goshlaw.com website can serve a very useful educational purpose.” Condominium board members are clamoring for direction, “so they can see firsthand examples of what the legal consequences of their decisions might be,” he added.
Lombardi echoed Goodman’s comments indicating, "Condominium association boards have an insatiable thirst for legal opinion and direction but want it without the legalese. We’ve tried to do that in an instructional and conversational way. Our intent is to educate our clients and website visitors about topics of interest and importance.” Lombardi added, "GSL expects to deliver legal content through blogs, webinars, social media vehicles and more comprehensive video releases during the coming year.”
Shapiro said, “Once we gauge the popularity of these videos to see which are the most viewed, then, we’ll gather insights from viewers on topics they think are important and generate new content going forward.” Industry estimates predict as many as 15 billion views per day will take place on YouTube within the next few years. “Clearly,” she added, “educating through video will be a mainstay of online education.”
Goodman indicated that, “An estimated 80% of consumers ‘search to buy' online." He added, "It is much easier to engage our audience digitally than to have them read about a topic within a legal context."
