New York, NY (PRWEB) October 25, 2016 -- Brazil-based edutech startup EduSynch closed a licensing deal with Collins Learning, a division of HarperCollins Publishers UK. The partnership is a first for EduSynch as the young company seeks to expand the content offering currently available on their adaptive training platform focused on the TOEFL® Test, one of the most widely respected English language proficiency tests in the world. The firm plans to leverage the relationship with Collins to generate a more robust offering for their users, from modularized simulations to individualized study guides that help users identify and focus on their weaknesses in relation to the exam. EduSynch’s customers will soon be able to access content from several Collins titles, including the Collins Skills for the TOEFL® Test range and the Collins Practice Test Pack for the TOEFL® Test.
EduSynch Founder and CEO, Sean Kilachand, calls the partnership a “tremendous” step for the firm. “With as renowned a name as Collins as our official content partner, we will now be able to accomplish many of the more pedagogically complex tasks much sooner than we initially anticipated,” Kilachand says. “As far as agility goes, this partnership really opens a lot of doors. Now, in addition to modularizing our simulation platform across all the four skills [Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking], we can begin to construct the first-ever platform that provides personalized lessons for the TOEFL® test based on your personal needs...and TOEFL® is just the beginning. Training platforms for IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge Exams, and even proficiency exams in other languages are now on the horizon for the near future.”
Following the launch of HarperCollins Brasil in 2015, the newly inked deal provides Collins Learning with an opportunity to expand its presence in Brazil, and to become even more involved in the English Language Training space - one of the country’s hottest educational sectors.
