Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) August 10, 2016 -- Eduventures, Inc., the leading provider of primary research, analysis and advisory services that help higher education institutions support decision making throughout the student lifecycle, today announced a lineup of visionary thought leaders from higher education, private industry and technology that will keynote Eduventures Summit 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts, October 23 – 25, 2016.
This event, which is expected to sell out, will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for leaders from higher education institutions and the partners who serve them to come together to network with one another, share best practices, and engage in a discussion about the changing outlook for higher education.
Keynote speakers include:
Tammy Erickson: a McKinsey Award-winning author, a leading expert on generations in the workplace, and a widely respected expert on collaboration and innovation, the changing workforce, and the nature of work in intelligent organizations.
Marni Baker Stein: the Chief Innovation Officer of the University of Texas System’s Institute for Transformational Learning and is an authority on online program and curricular development, delivery and assessment; next-generation strategic enrollment and student lifecycle management infrastructure implementation; and student-centered, outcomes-focused, competency-based instructional design.
Christine Ortiz: the former Dean for Graduate Education at MIT who is establishing a new nonprofit research university. Her vision is for a residential institution defined by next-generation pedagogic best practices, citing problem-based learning and flipped classrooms.
Katherine Bergeron: the President of Connecticut College who has supported the development of the curriculum at Connecticut College through a bold new venture in integrative education. The resulting vision, called Connections, requires all students to make deeper linkages between the work they do in courses, in jobs, and in their lives both on campus and in the world, in order to prepare them for leadership in an era of change: liberal arts for the connected world.
Julian L. Alssid: the Chief Workforce Strategist at College for America at Southern New Hampshire University (CfA) where he is responsible for ensuring that CfA’s offerings have labor market relevance. Julian also oversees CfA’s Signature Initiatives—partnerships with large intermediaries and employers that expand the scope and scale of CfA as a competency-based solution for higher education.
Scott D. Pulsipher: the President of Western Governors University, where he is tasked with expanding the institution’s influence with a focus on student outcomes, affordability, the student experience, and employer engagement — all enabled through technology.
“We have developed this year’s program to establish the Eduventures Summit as the most important event for higher education leaders who are looking for strategic advice and guidance on how they should rethink the student lifecycle,” said Richard Garrett, Eduventures Chief Research Officer. “The depth and breadth of the program and the stellar lineup of speakers makes this an event not to be missed.”
