efile4biz.com started as eFileforBusiness.com and quickly established a strong reputation as a reliable 1099 and W-2 e-filing business that set information security as a top priority. The name was changed last month to coincide with a new partnership with HRdirect.
The new, shorter name was selected because it better reflects the company’s modern approach to processing tax information returns, and for its uniqueness. "There are a lot of copycat e-file sites cropping up these days," said Patricia Milian, General Manager of efile4biz.com. "We needed a catchier, more distinctive name – one that is easier for our customers to remember and clearly sets us apart from the fly-by-night providers."
The partnership with HRdirect will bring new value for the company’s growing customer base. "By joining forces with HRdirect, efile4biz.com can now tap into more tax compliance experts and technology resources on behalf of our customers," said Ms. Milian. "Having these additional resources at our disposal means we can improve and expand the site more quickly, and, ultimately, better meet our customers’ needs."
Some of those upgrades have already come to efile4biz.com. Based on user feedback, the site has been redesigned and outfitted with some requested new features for the upcoming filing season, including 1099 Correction forms. "We’re now one of the only sites where you can e-file a 1099 Correction, even if you didn’t file the original form on our site," explains Ms. Milian.
Users can now also edit their forms if they find an error after checking out and more easily track when e-filed forms are accepted by the IRS or SSA. efile4biz.com has also improved navigation and existing functions on the site to make the process even smoother than it was before.
