eFORCE Software Announces 2016 Users Conference
Logan, Utah (PRWEB) April 21, 2016 -- eFORCE Software will be hosting its 2016 Users Conference October 4-6 in Logan, Utah, home to its company headquarters.
“We’re excited for our customers to experience the natural beauty of Logan in the fall. It’s a terrific place to live, work and host a conference,” said Brandon Taylor, Marketing Manager at eFORCE. “We’ve planned an agenda full of valuable training courses, inspiring speakers, like Elizabeth Smart, and great networking events.”
The theme for this year’s conference is Mastering Your Software. Attendees will experience two days of instruction, breakout sessions and hands-on work focused on two areas. First, improving their ability to optimize the use of their eFORCE software platforms and second, developing the technical and networking skills needed to advance their careers. The results will help simplify their regular workloads, increase the efficiency of their agencies and prepare them to add greater value to their current or future employers.
Lincoln County, Wyoming Sheriff’s Office has been an eFORCE customer since 2009. “We switched over to eFORCE from our previous RMS system due to the need for our officers to be mobile,” said Maryanne Christensen, Records Administrator. “The multiple benefits of our agency switching are program administration, mobility, UCR validation, user-friendly, ease of training new users, and interoperability between systems.”
This year’s conference will address some of those specific benefits. Courses will also include instruction on computer aided dispatch (CAD), records management software (RMS), jail management software (JMS), the new iOS eFORCE mobile app, ad hoc reporting, tips for becoming a better software admin and more.
Headlining the event will be keynote speaker Elizabeth Smart. In 2002, Smart became the focal point of one of the most publicized child abduction cases in U.S. history. She was taken from her home on June 5 by captors who held her prisoner by threatening to kill her and her family for nine months. On March 12, 2003 police returned Smart safely back to her family.
Fueled by her traumatic experience, Smart has become a powerful advocate for recovery programs and legislation related to child abduction. She founded the Elizabeth Smart Foundation, has helped promote The National AMBER Alert, The Adam Walsh Child Protection & Safety Act and other relevant safety legislation, and has shared her experience through a New York Times best-selling book titled, My Story.

Her ability to triumph over the incomprehensible challenges she has faced speaks volumes of her character and provides a valuable lesson for the rest of us who deal with far more trivial issues day in and day out,” said eFORCE CEO, Cory Bowers. “We’re very honored for her to be our guest speaker this year.”
