EG-GILERO Expands Global Medical Device Manufacturing Into the Dominican Republic
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) October 05, 2016 -- EG Industries medical division, EG-GILERO, is proud to announce the opening of its newest medical device manufacturing facility in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This ISO 13485-certified medical-focused facility is equipped with cleanroom injection molding, assembly, and packaging capabilities in the Las Americas Free Zone Park. Omar Ferretti, Vice President and Plant Manager for the facility shared that “this nearshore site and its capabilities will better serve our customers in the Caribbean and provide low cost assembly options for all of EG-GILERO’s existing and new customer base.”
This facility has been in continuous operation since 2006, serving medical OEMs locally and across North America.
