The activity was to share with the public the release of the ingenious EganAero™ glass markerboard from Egan Visual, which leverages the unique properties of Corning Gorilla Glass, making it a thin and durable glass writing board solution. The events and creative contributions in Times Square and at Curley Park were captured by Corning in a video featuring some of the top highlights.

Corning held a Facebook photo contest where participants were given a chance to win a new EganAero glass markerboard. Participants were asked to submit a photo of their best example of ghosting on a whiteboard they frequently use. Ghosting is the technical term for visible marker stains from previous usage. The build-up of stains over time can make the board look dirty and can make new writing illegible. The legibility of writing on a glass markerboard is also very important. EganAero delivers shadow-free writing with zero ghosting.
