EGC Enterprises Appoints Lisa Sutton to Corporate Accounting Manager
Chardon, OH (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- EGC Enterprises, Inc., a manufacturer of severe service, flexible graphite products and materials for fluid sealing and thermal systems applications, has appointed Lisa Sutton to Accounting Manager. She is responsible for the total supervision and control of all daily general accounting functions.
According to officers at EGC, Sutton oversees the completion of accurate and timely financial statements. Her roll is critical in the development of information and analysis, assisting the officers to manage and improve the EGC business model.
According to Austin Carasello, President, “Lisa is well qualified to manage the accounting department and we’re very fortunate to have her on our team.”
“This job is terrific and I spend my time doing far more than accounting,” said Sutton. “ I work on cash flow, analyze financial statements, manage daily cash funding, monitor and upgrade credit and even get involved with our insurance companies.”
But she keeps an eye on profitability by managing cost. “I’m involved in the process not just accounting,” says Sutton. “By managing cost, I keep the executive managers updated and tell them when a price increase or reduction is necessary or when it’s the right time to buy a new piece of equipment or stay with an old asset. It’s a constant watch.”
Sutton has two accounting degrees: a Bachelor of Business degree from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. She recently illustrated a book that is due on book store shelves throughout the country. She has been married for 16 years and lives in Lenox Township, Ohio.
