MIL-STD-1553 Data Bus has a long service history of proven reliability in critical military avionics, which has paved the way for use in commercial airline and spaceflight applications. The data bus is used on various satellite platforms as a robust communications protocol and interface. It connects satellite bus sub-systems and units (e.g., AOCS, TT&C, data handling, and power control), as well as payload in a redundant configuration.
ESCC-Qualified Cable Harnesses
EIS delivers MIL-STD-1553 harnesses with approved materials that operate reliably under extremely harsh environmental conditions typical for spaceflight applications.
