Eisenhower Fellowships Launches Youth Leader Network, Introduces 32 Global Young Leaders in Malaga, Spain
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) September 14, 2017 -- Eisenhower Fellowships, a premier international leadership program, announces the launch of the Eisenhower Youth Leaders Network, a new initiative aimed at developing a vibrant global network for the next generation of change agents.
Eisenhower Fellowships (EF) will introduce these 32 outstanding young leaders ages 18 to 25 this week at its global conference on Future of Work in Malaga, Spain. At a time of dramatic economic and social disruption and rapid technological change, more than 325 influential leaders from 49 countries are gathering in Malaga to explore this subject of vital importance in every region of the world.
The event, co-hosted by Eisenhower Fellows in Spain and Jordan from Sept. 14 to 17, will feature nearly 50 prominent international speakers and the organization’s new iLabs, interactive forums where Eisenhower Fellows will present 12 innovative projects designed to create concrete impact after the conference.
In Malaga the prestigious independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit international leadership organization will also present the findings of a new global poll of the attitudes of Millennials in 20 countries on their current and prospective employment situation and the evolving workplace.
In Malaga the youth leaders will all participate in a mentoring workshop and discuss their projects and engage with mentors from countries outside their own. At least two of them will present iLab projects and five of them will participate in a plenary panel discussion about their views and expectations for jobs and the changing global workplace over the next generation.
Each young person in the Youth Leaders Network has been connected with at least one mentor committed to working with him or her for at least one year. After returning home, the youth leaders will be expected to share what they have learned with their university community and beyond while also committing to mentoring someone younger than themselves.
