“This is our first opportunity to look into the 2x2 MIMO design philosophy for Alcatel-Lucent’s in cabinet radio unit for its 9412/9711/9712/9941 LTE eNodeB products. The transmit receive duplexer unit (TRDU) contains two complete radio transceivers, two power amplifiers and two duplexer filters to support 2x2 MIMO functionality. We note that this version of the TRDU is designed and manufactured for Alcatel-Lucent by CommScope, Inc.,” said founder and President, Earl Lum.
“The LTE Band 13 unit supports the Upper C Block of spectrum (746-756MHz) within the 700MHz frequency band in North America. Band 13 spectrum supports mobile operators including AT&T Wireless and Verizon Wireless in the US.
