ElDorado Mobility Donates Chrysler Amerivan During National Mobility Awareness Month Local Heroes Contest
Salina, KS (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- ElDorado Mobility, a premier manufacturer of mobility van conversions, recently partnered with the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) to celebrate the theme “Life Moving Forward” during National Mobility’s Awareness Month in May.
During this campaign, NMEDA sponsored a “Local Heroes” contest where nominations were submitted for a chance to win a free wheelchair accessible vehicle. NMEDA defines Local Heroes as “people who volunteer, educate, advocate, achieve and persevere”. Local Heroes consist of independent wheelchair users, caregivers, veterans with disabilities or those living a life without limits despite disabilities. The campaign finished with 914 Local Hero online entries that received 1.3 million votes.
Eldorado Mobility is proud to announce the winners of the Chrysler Amerivan are Kym and Rick Daniels, the parents of Kaitlyn Daniels of Derry, Pennsylvania. Kaitlyn, a 10-year old, was selected based on her work with starting Kidz That Kare, a program in her community that provides local families with clothes, toiletries, toys and groceries.
