Jon P. Treder, a San Luis Obispo resident since 1970, founded the company in late December of 1984. The current majority owners, sons of Jon P. Treder, Wes and Jacob Treder, sought on their own following high school to become involved at the bottom level of the organization. They found that they enjoyed the challenges and opportunity so decided to pursue education in administration and the technical aspects of the electrical construction industry. Both have become very accomplished and active in the advancement and achievements of the company over the last 10 to 15 years.
The accomplishment of the 30-year mark has not come without challenges. Recognizing and proactively seeking out and keeping up with technical, environmental safety and regulatory changes in the electrical industry has been a testament to the family’s commitment to providing the best service available in the industry. Competing with unskilled, and non-professional electrical and general construction organizations has also been a challenge for the company, one that has been taken in stride.
