Electronic Transactions for Exports Are Optimized, Through the New Platform AGEXPORT-VUPE
Guatemala, Guatemala (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- As part of the modernization of the information that the One Stop Window for Exports, VUPE, offers to the export sector, AGEXPORT-VUPE joined efforts to create a new WEB portal to obtain information like export licenses or accompaniment on the settlement of the unique customs declarations.
With an investment valued by the Digital Marketing Department at US$20 thousand on security services and US$15 thousand on applications, the WEB portal launched by VUPE integrates the services of the Office of Inward (OPA), which will allow the follow up of the exportation process from any mobile device, as well as direct access to de WEB portal of SEADEX, a tool that will reduce costs and time, for any type of export or import process.
On the first trimester of 2013, 99% of the total export transactions were done through VUPE´s web portal, while only 1% of the procedures were done personally at the One Stop Window offices. This means that with just a “click”, 160,050 transactions have been done on this period, whereas 1,757 transactions were attended personally, and what we are searching is for the enterprises to become more self manageable and to complete their transactions without the need to go to the central offices of VUPE. According to AGEXPORT´s Director, VUPE´s new portal, created with the last technology, offers now a renewed image, current information and electronic services that will allow the user to know about How to export?, How to generate a export code?, basic requirements and even how to resolve technical or process issues. These will reduce 15 to 20 % on administrative expenses when making a transaction. On terms of time, making a transaction can take up to 20 minutes, depending on the requirements for the procedure.
This platform, will also count with a section that will notify important announcements for the exporter such as: changes in the systems, customs issues, possible events, system maintenance on the entities involved on export processes, new procedures, among others.
The VUPE´s portal will be located on the web site, also renewed, of AGEXPORT which will offer easy access to all the information related to export sectors, the associates’ electronic directory integrated to the google services, courses and certifications of the Foreign Trade School, the virtual library and the news and information site, AGEXPORT Today and Data Export.
Agexport website is visited 45,000 thousand times on a monthly basis, therefore it was design so that the entity may have a better presence on the virtual world. It was made not only for AGEXORT´s associates and employees, but also for the general public, including no associated exporters, public employees, diplomatic bodies, international entrepreneurs, students, media and anyone interested on knowing about foreign trade. Among the innovations of AGEXPORT´s new web portal we have the Virtual Store, meant for national and international buyers, with the purpose that they can make any payments electronically from any part of the world and at any time. Also on the AGEXPORT´s Community, Agexport´s associates may interact with other colleagues creating an online business forum and at last the implementation of the access to the virtual courses of the new programs of E-learning.
