Elmspring Accelerator Now Accepting Applications for Cohort 3.0
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- The real estate tech accelerator program, elmspring, is excited to announce the opening of the application process for Cohort 3.0. Applications for the Spring Session begin in April.
Founded by real estate professionals and entrepreneurs Thomas Bretz and Adam Freeman, the elmspring accelerator is the first seed-stage technology accelerator geared toward the real estate industry in the country. In 2015, the company was heralded by Inman’s for being one of the most innovative real estate companies in the industry.
The elmspring accelerator is a three-month intensive program that helps startups bring their disruptive ideas to market. Each participating startup receives seed capital, access to elmspring’s impressive network of mentors, office space at the premiere 1871 Chicago and a host of professional services and resources. The program culminates with a Demo Day event where participants demonstrate their products for serious investors.
“There are a number of areas we have a particular interest in this session, such as housing, hospitality, smart home automation, brokerage, college housing, and multifamily, to name a few. Of course, we will entertain any idea that is truly original and has the potential to shake things up,” says Bretz.
Beyond the elmspring mentors, the program also has made beneficial connections with well-known industry names, including Century 21 Affiliated, Waterton Associates, Harrison Street, Zillow Group and the National Association of Home Builders. Cohorts will have the opportunity to work with representatives from these esteemed organizations in varying capacities.
