Emanuel 9 Memorial Fund Accepting Community Donations
Charleston, SC (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- What: The Beach Company recently announced a partnership with Emanuel AME Church to create a permanent memorial in honor of the nine victims of the June 17 tragedy. The Emanuel 9 Memorial Fund, created in collaboration with Charleston fundraising site The Matching Fund, has now been established to provide the Charleston community an avenue for donating to the project. All donations to the Emanuel 9 Memorial Fund are tax-deductible.
The fund has already received $40,000 in donations from The Beach Company employees and $25,000 from Evening Post Industries and The Post & Courier.
Donors can submit an amount of their choosing to the fundraiser via the “Give What You Wish” option. Funders can also give specified amounts as a “Contributor” for $10,000, a “Partner” for $20,000, and an “Angel” for $35,000.
Contributions may be made to the online fundraising page, or donors can mail funds directly to The Matching Fund and The Beach Company. Simmons, Cynthia Hurd, Myra Thompson, Ethel Lance, Susie Jackson, and Tywanza Sanders.
