Emanuel Implements Azalea Health in Four New Clinics

The four clinics are implementing Azalea® EHR and Azalea® RCM for an integrated healthcare management and medical billing solution.
Emanuel Medical Center became an Azalea Health customer in 2013, implementing the Azalea Health solution in their clinics, Emanuel Prompt Care and Emanuel OB-GYN. In June 2014, Emanuel Medical Center acquired four more facilities -- Porter Family Medical Clinic, Emanuel Pediatric Associates, and Ray Medical Clinic (located in Swainsboro, GA), along with Twin City Family Medical Center (located in Twin City, GA).
Prior to implementing Azalea Health, Emanuel Medical Center used a variety of medical software billing vendors for their clinical and billing management. They made the transition to Azalea Health to unify their systems and process in their eight multi-specialty standalone clinics.

About Emanuel Medical Center
Emanuel Medical Center opened in 1952. It is currently licensed for 72 acute care beds and 12 bassinets. In 1970 a 49-bed long-term care facility was opened as the Emanuel County Nursing Home. Twenty-four private rooms were added to the facility in 1972. In 1983 extensive renovations were completed that touched almost every patient care area of the hospital and added a seven-bed intensive care unit.
