Embassy Suites Brea - North Orange County Hotel Appoints Jay Badillo General Manager
Brea, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- The Embassy Suites Brea Hotel, owned and operated by Windsor Capital Group, announced that Jay Badillo has been appointed as General Manager. A 12-year hospitality veteran, Badillo comes to the hotel from Embassy Suites West Palm Beach.
As General Manager, Badillo will direct all areas of the hotel’s operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts, and hotel administration.
“Based on Jay’s vast experience with multiple hotels in our Embassy Suites family, we are excited to have him on board,” said Lisa Kotlar, Embassy Suites Brea’s Director of Sales. “I am confident that he will be a wonderful asset to our team and ensure the continued success of this hotel.”
While managing his West Palm Beach property, Badillo earned nine honors and awards from Windsor Capital Group. He was nominated and awarded the Hervey Feldman General Manager of the Year Award based on his outstanding efforts and success at the Embassy Suites West Palm Beach in 2012. During Jay’s twelve year hospitality career, he has achieved opening, conversion, and renovation experience and is familiar with both Embassy Suites as well as Holiday Inn/ Crowne Plaza brand standards. Jay has a Bachelor’s of Science degree with majors in Business Administration and Computer Science from Western Oregon University and is currently working towards a Certified Hotel Administrator designation.
In addition to his career, Jay enjoys golfing, cycling, and has participated in numerous road races. Jay and his wife, Felicite, along with their three children, Xenia, Makai and Ealyn are excited about their relocation to Brea, California.
