Emerald Associates Announces the New Release of an Innovative Primavera Contract Management Uploading Tool

Oracle Primavera Contract Management has been a Primavera flagship product for over 25 years. Formerly known as Expedition and Contract Manager, PCM is a web based multi-project contract, cost and document management tool used on major projects worldwide. Oracle’s recent acquisition of Skire, rebranded as Primavera Unifier, has not stopped the investment in PCM despite some similarities between them. “The new release of Primavera Contract Management 14.1 shows Oracle’s ongoing commitment to the tool that is loved by users worldwide. They re-calculated all of the budgets in MS-Excel with a few formulas and reloaded all of the project budgets in minutes. PCM-Loader 3.0 adds more modules to the extensive list of available document types already handled in previous releases. Version 3.0 adds Requests for Information (RFI), non-compliance notices (NCN) and site instructions (SI) to the existing modules for procurement, budgets, contracts and POs, change proposals, change orders, trends, payment requisitions, issues, submittals, and cost codes. “We still have a few modules we have not built, but with our foundation and expertise, if a client wants it, we can turn a new module around typically in a matter of days,” explains Paul Jardin, VP technology.
Emerald Associates has developed add-ons, automations, integrations and industry driven behaviors and controls for all Oracle Primavera tools. The PCM-Archiver is another Emerald Tool and example of Emerald’s innovative problem solving. This solution allows a PCM administrator to archive all project data and attachments, filtering by module and/or by vendor as needed and outputting the documents into zipped PDF files that are easy to backup and securely share to meet contractual obligations.
