Emergency Communications Network Reveals Results from After Action Report of Winter Storm
Ormond Beach, Fla. (PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- Clients of Emergency Communications Network (ECN) who use the company’s CodeRED high speed emergency notification system say they would highly recommend the system to other communities considering a mass notification system or changing from their current provider, according to results released from a recent After Action Report following Winter Storm Janus.
The survey was initiated to determine the experience of clients who used CodeRED during the winter storm, one of the many winter storms that hit the Eastern Seaboard with record snow, single digit temperatures and dangerous road conditions.
Based on the client’s overall experience using the system during Winter Storm Janus, more than 95 percent of clients surveyed said they completely trust using the CodeRED system for future emergencies. More than 95 percent of the clients surveyed indicated they completely trust client support was available to assist them at any time and their community was important to ECN. More than 95 percent of those clients surveyed indicated they would deem their use of the CodeRED system during the winter storm a success.
“This survey data validates the heavy emphasis we place on our client’s experience by providing a team of outstanding support representatives who make themselves available around the clock and establish meaningful, long-term service relationships with our clients,” said ECN President David DiGiacomo. “Who better to ask about our system than our clients who use CodeRED during times of critical need?”
The survey, initiated on January 23, 2014, was sent to all current users of the CodeRED emergency notification system, representing public safety officials throughout the northeast that proactively and effectively relied on the system to deliver preemptive, ongoing and follow up life-safety information to communities impacted by the storm.

Survey Method: Results were based on Web surveys conducted under the direction of Emergency Communications Network. Survey results are based on samples collected from participating clients who used the CodeRED system during Winter Storm Janus. ECN can say with 95% confidence that the error attributable to sampling and other random effects is ±8%.
