EmeSec Awarded Veterans Technology Services GWAC
CHANTILLY, Va. (PRWEB) November 16, 2017 -- EmeSec Incorporated, an expert in cloud computing, security and engineering services, today announced that the company has been awarded the Veterans Technology Services (VETS) 2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This multiple award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract has a ceiling of $5 billion.
Under the terms of the contract, EmeSec can provide common IT services regularly purchased by the federal government. The EmeSec team will also support projects that require new or emerging IT services. Examples of IT services within the scope include: Data Management, Information and Communications Technology, IT Operations and Maintenance, IT Security, Software Development, and Systems Design, Security Compliance, and other related services requested by a multitude of government agencies.
EmeSec brings forward a strong track record in security services and technical solutions focused on customer missions and forward-looking strategic assistance across the Federal government. Most recently, the company has been recognized as an impactful Federal Contractor by the RecognizeDC awards as well as a business leader addressing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) /DFARS 7012 compliance under the NIST 800-171 Revision 1 guidelines.
The contract win, with period of performance of five years and another 5-year option, extends the company’s reputation and rich past performance across the Federal government. With more than 24 contracts over the past decade, this win signifies the next level of capability and growth for EmeSec.
