Empire Recycling Corporation Continues its Environmental Commitment by Enrolling in Energy Curtailment Specialists' Demand Response Program
Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) July 23, 2014 -- Empire Recycling Corporation is adding to its environmental responsibilities by enrolling in demand response with Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc. (ECS).
ECS, the longest tenured demand response firm in North America, is proud to announce that Empire Recycling has chosen it as its official demand response provider. By agreeing to participate in the program, Empire Recycling pledges to reduce electricity when the power grid becomes unstable. By limiting its energy use a few hours per year, Empire Recycling is not only helping to stabilize the electric grid, but it is working to limit greenhouse gas emissions as well. Through ECS’s Green Roots Initiative, ten trees will be donated to one of America's national forests on behalf of Empire Recycling, taking the company’s environmental promise to the next level.
