Empower Network Releases Blog Beast
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- Blog Beast, a new, second-generation viral blogging solution from Empower Network, is now available to the public, and the company expects it will revolutionize the blogosphere.
Blog Beast, an investment that took more than $3 million and a year to develop, offers a multitude of features not yet available among the current generation of blog software, according to company officials.
Empower Network says Blog Beast users are able to maintain multiple blogs among multiple domains within one account and one system login. Blog Beast is faster, easier to use and features a better design than the original Empower Network viral blogging system, as well as compared to what is offered through other blogging platforms.
“When it comes to the setup, maintenance and endless plug-ins, WordPress and other blogging platforms can be confusing,” said Empower Network President David Sharpe. “Blogging should be simple and something that everyone can easily do. It’s not. We’ve made blogging easy enough that anyone can do it, even someone who is new to the Internet.”
Sharpe says WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr and other popular blogging platforms lack key features and benefits users find with Blog Beast. Blog Beast simplifies the audio and video blogging experience by allowing the user to record video or audio posts with the click of a button on the mobile app. With two simple clicks, anyone can post a podcast or video online from a smartphone or computer, making Blog Beast highly efficient for road warriors or those who don’t want to work behind a desk.
In the past, mobile apps for blogging platforms were watered down and not as feature-rich as the original programs. Blog Beast matches the desktop user experience with the mobile user experience.
“Our goal was to allow blog owners to post anything from anywhere at any time,” Sharpe said. “That is the power we want to give our customers – to be able to build and manage their businesses from their pockets.”
Sharing is also easier with Blog Beast. The platform allows users to reblog posts from other Blog Beast sites, posting content onto their own blogs while giving the original author credit. A proprietary commenting feature also allows readers to share blogs and their blog comments directly on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter with links back to the original blog posts.
Other features available through Blog Beast are training on blogging, marketing and leadership. A customer relationship management system is also available, which allows a user to access his or her back office, view sales and transactions as well as send email blasts to customer groups.
Users can withhold premium content with a paywall, which restricts access to that content and offers a call to action for viewers to upgrade their accounts in order to view such premium content.
Blog Beast is $25 per month, the same as the original Empower Network blogging system. Empower Network used the development codename ENV2 (pronounced “Envy 2”), as in Empower Network version 2, for Blog Beast’s development. Empower Network released Blog Beast to its affiliates on Oct. 11.
Empower Network hosts one of the largest blogging communities and publishing platforms online in addition to providing educational and leadership training products and services to online marketers and start-up, home-based and small businesses. Empower Network offers a program through which affiliates can earn commissions off the sales of Empower Network products. Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Fla., David Wood and David Sharpe founded Empower Network in 2011 to empower small-business owners to make money online without dealing with the technical, marketing, payroll and overhead challenges that frustrate many entrepreneurs and small-business owners. Empower Network’s signature product is a viral blogging system geared toward helping its 38,000 affiliates and 80,000 active members use the Internet to grow their businesses online, taking them from disenfranchisement to full self-empowerment through the use of blogs, direct sales and online marketing.
