Since May 2009, Mr. Chandler has been Emtec’s CFO and has served on the Board of Directors since 2005. During his tenure at Emtec he has been instrumental in the transformation of the Company to a consulting and outsourcing organization, doubling gross profit and the gross margin percentage quadrupling EBITDA. In the last 4 years he has reduced SG&A costs by nearly $14 million. In addition, during his time as CFO the Company has executed 8 acquisitions, 4 spin off/joint ventures, 5 separate capital raises and a going private transaction.
He serves on the Board of Directors of FS Investment Corporation and the RBB Funds, and on the Board of Trustees of FS Energy and Power Fund. Mr. Chandler received his MBA from Harvard Business School, a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Chandler started his business career at Coopers & Lybrand/PwC, and subsequently worked for Janney Montgomery Scott. Prior to this Mr. Chandler served as a Captain in the US Army.
