Encompass Risk Solutions Hires Transportation Industry Expert for VP Role
Warminster, PA (PRWEB) October 03, 2017 -- Encompass Risk Solutions, a managing specialist of AssuredPartners Transportation (APT), is pleased to announce that Ken Lacey has joined its team in the position of Vice President. Lacey was formerly the President of Jones Motor Group and Greentree Transportation, responsible for leading and overseeing all sales, growth and operations. During his tenure, Lacey designed and implemented extensive and profitable tractor and trailer leasing programs, and deployed successful owner operator training classes to maximize customer satisfaction and sales initiatives.
Lacey has more than 10 years’ experience overseeing in-house and field recruiting staff efforts, recruiting program development, and ad development, design and placement. He has 20 years’ experience overseeing safety and compliance functions. This includes safety and training program design, development, communication, implementation and ongoing execution, coordinating and running driver meetings and working with agents and customers to address safety and loss prevention matters.
Lacey has served as the Jones Security Officer for the past 12 years, managing all transportation security concerns. This includes oversight of the security program addressing the requirements for the Department of the Army to transport Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E freight). Lastly, he has 30 years’ experience handling commercial auto, cargo, worker’s compensation and physical damage claims, and many years of legal, financial, union, and real estate experience.
Lacey’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University, and an Associate Degree in Risk Management (ARM). He is a licensed property and casualty producer and adjuster and a member of many industry associations including the Trucking Industry Defense Association, the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association, the Risk Management and Insurance Society, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Transportation Research Board and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance.
